We coa… Posted on November 6, 2020 Author admin Comments(22) 𝑷𝒂𝒏 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝑫𝒖𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 ~ Pan-fried these pork dumplings taste so goood🤤. We coated a few with sesame inspired by renisgrubshot post. This time we added lemom grass paste to the filling which was fragrant & full of flavour! 🥟In a mixing bowl combine 250 gms minced pork, one finely chopped carrot,onion(I used regular ones),40ml soya sauce,2-3 green chillies,2 tsp lemon grass paste (optional),1 garlic finely chopped, 2 tbsp minced ginger, salt & pepper. Mix well and rest this for min1h to overnight. Makes around 25-30 dumplings. 🥟 We used gyoza wrappers from store. Stuff and wrap as per choice. To coat with sesame lightly brush the flat/ bottom part of the dumplings with water and dab on the sesame. 🥟Drizzle a tbsp oil in a pan once hot take it off heat arrange the dumplings flat side down. Put pan back on high cook until the base turns light brown. Pour over (40-80ml) water over the dumplings, immediately cover and cook for 8-10 mins on medium high until the water dries up (cooking time will vary depending on the meat). If you feel more water is needed add only after the one in the pan has dried up. 🥟Serve this with soy sauce dipping. Combine 60ml soy sauce, 1 tbsp chilli oil, 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar (white vinegar also will do). Which dumplings should we make next? .
