With all the done for this here is a keeper of a recipe to munch on๐Ÿ˜‹ with just a hint of spice to it. You can make these ahead or just an hour before serving. This is also a good way to revive almonds that have turned soft !

If using roasted almonds just follow step 1. Ready in under 30 mins these are addictive. I had made a video for some reason it isn’t showing up so will share it on my story instead.

400 gms almonds plain or roasted
1/2 cup sugar (use as per taste)
1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp Spices of your choice (I used cayenne pepper & cinnamon)
Salt

๐ŸŒŸ Preheat oven to 325ยฐF/ 160ยฐC
Step 1: In a pan add almonds, water & sugar and bring it to boil on medium heat stirring often. Sugar will melt & caramelize. Once its almost sticky and evenly coated add in spice powder + salt mix well. If you have used roasted almonds just transfer these to a tray cool completely & they are ready to eat.
๐ŸŒŸ Step 2: Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Transfer the toffeed nuts spread evenly you can use a fork to separate the nuts. Roast this for 25 mins, stir the Almonds at 15 mins so that all sides are roasted evenly. Allow almonds to cool completely at room temperature before serving ๐Ÿ˜‹

Store in a airtight container at room temperature for upto 2 weeks.
